#ThankATrucker Thursdays
Thank You! Two simple words that aren't said often enough in life. We say thank you to truckers in many ways from including the #thankatrucker hashtag in our calendar , our facebook posts and in the videos we produce to the two Thursdays every month we dedicate as #ThankaTrucker Thursdays where we hold a simple random draw contest on oour facebook page and the winner or winners receive a prize donated by one or more of the Friends of Wowtrucks. Tim Hortons Cards, McDonalds Cards, Hats, Shirts, Mugs etc. Tangible ways to show appreciation for our professional drivers who don't always see in their day to day. WowBombs
The support of Community in trucking is vital to a professional driver's success. WowBombs are random tribute videos produced and posted to celebrate someone or give them support in a time of struggle. As we begin to win the war on Covid Wowbombs will expand to random acts of kindness in person as well. Isolation is a natural part of being a truck driver and this is part of our movement to let drivers know they are appreciated and not alone. |

The Monthly Photo Contest:
Your Chance to win prizes & a spot in the next Wowtrucks Calendar Every month we run a photo contest on the Wowtrucks Facebook Page. When the contest is posted, drivers are invited to enter by posting a photo of their truck in the comments. At the end of the contest the truck with the most likes/loves etc is the winner. The winner becomes the Banner Truck Image for our Facebook page the next month, wins prizes donated by our Friends of Wowtrucks AND wins a spot in the 2022 Wowtrucks Calendar! Our monthly E-newsletter is sent out to a large group of fleets & drivers celebrating a Driver Story, adding photos & links to things of interest to drivers and a contest with prizes available only to subscribers. Different people put priority on different means of communication and for those that "don't do" Facebook this is a great way to reach out with our mission to celebrate and empower trucker drivers. |
