q: What is your story and what is behind the nickname Gremlin granny?
Cyndi's Answer:
I grew up on a grain farm so my first love was running a combine during harvest. Started working for a huge grain/cattle farmer, and when harvest was over he told me to get my CDL, there'd always be work. So I did, using their truck. Hauled sugar beet tailings for their cattle for 6 years. Then worked for a customer harvester and after harvest, I started hauling grain commercially with his truck. Within 2 years, I bought my first truck in 2004, an '86 359 to haul grain commercially. My daughter was also born in' 04, so she rode with me every day. And that's what I've done ever since. Granny is my 4th truck, 1977 359. Bought her end of Nov 2016 after blowing the motor in my '97 379 lol. Her name was going yo be One Wide Two Deep lol. But she had soooo many gremlins to work out, some were just plain unexplainable, many left my mechanic and I shaking our heads, some Granny actually fixes herself haha. So that's how her name came about.
